My Personal Section – The Things I like a Lot.

In this section I share a few of the things I like a lot. One of my favorite things besides technology is music. For me December is the month I most enjoy. We remember that one of humanities greatest persons came to the world, with an eternal legacy. There is debate of when Jesus was born to this world, but that does not matter.

To me the important thing is that Jesus came! Anyhow, my gift to you is some music with chords that maybe you can play too! Included are some songs in English and some in Spanish. The Spanish songs follow a Christmas folklore, mainly influenced by the “villancicos.” Villancicos are Spain’s version of a Christmas carol. A Villancico is a popular song, mainly with a religious subject, that is sung at Christmas, which is the same definition applied to a Christmas carol.

Below is a list of goodies I would like to share:

My gift to you is a Christmas song compilation. The following link contains the pdf file that contains the compilation:

Many of these songs are already known to us. All credits and thanks to all the composers that made these songs possible.

As you can see in the pdf file, when songs are translated from one language to another, the lyrics are not an exact match. This is also due to the making the translated verses to rhyme and have a good metric.

Click the link below to download the pdf file with the song compilation. Its is free.

Christmas-Songs-December 24, 2017

The songs have the chords, so if you know how to play the guitar or any other musical instrument, you may play or sing these too. This compilation is free. I tried my best to set the moment of the chord to indicate when it is played. There are many other resources to learn these songs, you may know these already, you may have the music, or may hear these on the web apps like YouTube. I encourage the purchase of the music of your favorite artists, as the worker, composer, and author of work, deserve their part too.

My thanks to all artists in the world, who will perform art that proclaims peace on this earth to all of good will.

I will be adding new songs. These songs are the ones I used for my Christmas Eve celebration. The song called “Shepherds to Bethlehem” is in process of being fine-tuned. This song is translation I am doing on the song called Pastores a Belen, which is a villancico from Spain, which follow a Christmas folklore. A Villancico is a popular song, mainly with a religious subject, that is sung at Christmas, which is the same definition applied to a Christmas carol.
